Wow, ever notice that after you've started one blog, it just seems to make sense to have more? Well, now I guess I have three, although one of those is shared (which is pretty fun by the way).
Why the new blog? Well, its pretty simple, I needed one. Or rather, I needed another website type thing, and blogger makes it so easy, that this website is going to be in blog format. Plus, posting is fun! Everyone should try it!
Your Home BS is a place for me to post pictures of recently completed (or in progress) projects I've done for people. Its a place to get ideas of things to do to your home, or perhaps hire me to do for (or with) you! So, for starters, I'll be posting some finished projects, both of things I've done to my own home, and others.
Yes, I'm still making jewelry! And I love making jewelry, and have no plans to close Papaver Jewelry. Its just that these days (in these times of economic hardship, as we like to say around our house) what people really need and want is a well functioning, organized, and Pretty home. More that jewelry (although they do still want that too). And well, organizing, painting, gardening and beautifying homes is pretty much my favorite thing to do! I'm just trying to formalize that part of my life a bit with a blog.
So to sum up: this is my new blog. Its designed for my clients (and prospective clients!) to get ideas and some mad props for their homes. Hope you all like it, and if you are in the Portland area, might just want to contact me to help you out with your home beautifications!
